Keselowski Qualifies 11th At Daytona

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (July 1, 2011) – Brad Keselowski and the No. 22 Discount Tire Dodge Challenger recorded the seventh fastest lap time during the qualifying session for the Subway Jalapeno 250 at Daytona International Speedway. He toured the 2.5-mile oval in 50.106 seconds, or 179.619 miles per hour.
“We didn’t have much for the KHI cars today in qualifying, but I like our chances during the race,” said Keselowski. “The Discount Tire Dodge was very good in race trim yesterday. Joey (Logano) and I worked really well together. Hopefully he and I can stay up front, out of trouble, and race each other for the win on the last lap.
The Subway Jalapeno 250 will air live at 7:30 pm EST on ESPN. Race coverage will also be broadcast live on the Motor Racing Network and Sirius Satellite channel 90.
