Team Penske Driver Briscoe To Tie The Knot

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (January 9, 2009) - Team Penske driver Ryan Briscoe's girlfriend Nicole Manske had planned on celebrating the holidays with his family in his native Australia, what she didn't plan on was becoming engaged.
While in town, the 27 year-old Briscoe found time to sneak away from the hectic holiday season and take Nicole, host of ESPN’s “NASCAR Now,” to the Great Barrier Reef for a few days of R&R. While lounging on Lizard Island, Briscoe popped the question and Nicole responded with a resounding “Yes.” As a result, not only did the couple get to celebrate Christmas under the sun in Australia; but they also were able to celebrate their engagement with his family before heading home to North Carolina.
The couple is planning a December 2009 wedding in Hawaii, a location chosen because it is halfway between their families’ homes in Sydney, Australia and Roscoe, Illinois.
