THE PAPERCLIP: The NASCAR Cup Series shifts its focus to short tracks over the next two events, beginning with this weekend's stop at Martinsville Speedway before an off weekend and a return to action at Bristol Motor Speedway. Drivers hit the track Saturday at the historic 0.526-mile paperclip for practice and qualifying ahead of Sunday's Cook Out 400. Team Penske brings a strong track record to Martinsville, with 11 victories at the Virginia short track. Among the organization's current drivers, Ryan Blaney has delivered consistent results, winning two of the last five races at the track while posting a series-best 4.25 average finish in the Next Gen era. Martinsville is also the venue where Blaney has led the most laps in his Cup Series career. Joey Logano's consistency at Martinsville is reflected in his streak of 13 consecutive top-10 finishes at the track—the fourth-longest in track history and his longest run at any venue. Austin Cindric has also shown solid results at Martinsville, recording four top-15 finishes in eight starts, including a career-best fourth-place result.

UP NEXT: Sunday's Cook Out 400 from Martinsville Speedway goes green at 3:30 p.m. ET, airing live on FS1, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90.
