NASCAR Cup Series Championship
Avondale, AZ - November 9, 2024

On-track action continued today at Phoenix Raceway as drivers prepare for Sunday's season finale where Team Penske's Ryan Blaney and Joey Logano are among four contenders competing for the prestigious Bill France Cup and the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Championship. In qualifying, Logano captured a front-row starting position for the 312-mile race, while teammates Austin Cindric and Blaney will roll off 11th and 17th, respectively, as Team Penske pursues its third consecutive Cup Series title and fifth overall.

Joey Logano: 2nd

Austin Cindric: 11th

Ryan Blaney: 17th

LOGANO SAID IT: "I wanted to beat the other guys, so yeah. It's all about beating the other ones and we did that, so that's a good start. I wish we were on the pole, but we were close enough to see it, so I think we're in good shape. I don't know where the other ones ended up, but I know we're in front of them."

TEAM PENSKE AT PHOENIX: Both Ryan Blaney and Joey Logano have incredibly strong records at the one-mile oval. Since 2022, Blaney has an average finish of third, while Logano has three prior victories in Phoenix - including his championship-clinching win in 2022. Blaney's performance in 2023 at the Arizona track earned him his first Cup Series title. In total, Team Penske has 10 wins at the facility across the Cup Series (4) and NASCAR Xfinity Series (6).

TUNE IN ON SUNDAY: Coverage of Sunday's NASCAR Cup Series Championship from Phoenix is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. ET. Viewers can tune in to watch the race live on NBC, with radio coverage available on MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
