DAYTONA 500 TUNE IN: MONDAY at 4 PM

February 18, 2024

Monday just got a whole lot more exciting with the 66th running of the DAYTONA 500 now set to take the green flag tomorrow, February 19 at 4 PM ET (FOX).

Rain in Daytona Beach, Florida, postponed the start of the Great American Race, moving it to Presidents' Day and making it a doubleheader event with the NASCAR XFINITY Series set to run at 11 AM ET.

Team Penske driver Joey Logano and the No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil team made organization history by capturing the pole position for the event, and will lead the 40-car field into the high banks. Teammates Austin Cindric and Ryan Blaney will line up sixth and 32nd respectively as the team prepares to make its 40th start in the prestigious event.

Cindric claimed his third row starting spot following a second-place finish in his respective Duel Thursday night, although a multi-car incident in the same 60-lap event forced Blaney to a No. 12 Menards/PEAK Ford Mustang back-up vehicle for extensive damage sustained. Still, a practice session the following day gave the Team Penske lineup a chance to get some tandem laps on track with Blaney and Cindric posting the session's best 10-lap consecutive averages.

Team Penske will aim for its fourth DAYTONA 500 victory when the race takes off tomorrow at 4 PM ET on FOX. We invite you to join us for all the action as we look to continue the season on a high note.
