• This Week’s Charger…
The No. 12 Penske Dodge Charger team will use chassis PRS-723 during Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Martinsville Speedway. PRS-723 is a brand-new chassis to the No. 12 team.
• Rookie Meeting for Keselowski... For the second consecutive weekend, driver Brad Keselowski will have to attend the NASCAR rookie meeting on Friday. While he has never made a Cup Series start at the .526-mile Martinsville Speedway oval, he does have four starts in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at the track. His best finish of 18th came in 2005, in a truck owned by his father, Bob Keselowski.
• No. 12 Penske Dodge in 2010... After five events, Keselowski and the No. 12 Penske Dodge Charger team currently sit 30th in the Cup Series driver and owner point standings. Keselowski earned his best season finish of 13th in the Food City 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway on Sunday.

• Meet Brad… Fans of Keselowski will have the opportunity to meet the first-year Penske Racing driver when he visits his merchandise trailer for an autograph session following Friday’s qualifying session at Martinsville Speedway.
• The Rest is History... Martinsville Speedway is another track where Penske Racing has enjoyed its share of success. In 78 starts, the organization has picked up six wins (all by Rusty Wallace), five poles, 19 top-five and 31 top-10 finishes. Wallace made Martinsville his personal playground as he did not finish outside of the top-three in eight consecutive races from September of 1992 through April of 1996.

“It will be a great thing for our series to go back to the spoiler. It’s a more traditional look that the fans have said they want. We’ve had some great racing this year, but the spoiler gives the car a little more downforce that will, hopefully, allow us to put on an even better show. It will take some time for us to adjust, but we have very talented people working here at Penske Racing that will make it as seamless as possible. To know that I can go in the history books as a driver to win with the wing is pretty special, though.”

Crew chief Jay Guy on preparing a first-time Cup Series driver for Martinsville Speedway
“Martinsville is probably the toughest track to visit for the first time, but I’m very confident that we can have a good run this weekend. Short-track racing is something that Brad has shown he has the ability to do well. The biggest challenge for us will be to keep the car rotating well in the center of the corner, without sacrificing forward bite. You need to qualify well because passing is not easy and, more importantly, you want to get the best pit stall possible.”
