BACK IN DAYTONA: NASCAR Cup Series teams rolled into Daytona Beach, Florida, on Wednesday to kick off the first on-track activity of Speedweeks ahead of the 68th running of the DAYTONA 500 at Daytona International Speedway. The day began with a 50-minute practice session, offering teams their first opportunity to assess their cars before the focus shifted to single-car qualifying under the lights. Qualifying locked in the front row for Sunday's Great American Race and set the starting lineups for Thursday night's Duel races. The pair of 150-mile qualifying events will finalize the remainder of the starting grid for the 500-mile season opener. Joey Logano and Ryan Blaney are set to compete in Duel 1, where they will start sixth and 11th, respectively, while Austin Cindric will take the green flag from eighth in Duel 2.
UP NEXT: The Duel races at Daytona are scheduled to take the green flag under the lights Thursday evening, with Duel 1 beginning at 7 p.m. ET and Duel 2 following at 8:45 p.m. ET. Coverage will air live on FS1 and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
