FULL DAY FRIDAY: NTT INDYCAR SERIES teams kicked off at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway with a full day of action on the 2.439-mile, 14-turn road course. Two practice sessions, followed by qualifying, Fast 12 and the Firestone Fast Six were sandwiched into Friday festivities. 

TEAM PENSKE AT THE IMS ROAD COURSE: Team Penske has eight victories on the IMS Road Course, with Will Power leading the pack with five wins. Power (2018) and Simon Pagenaud (2019) scored triumphs in the Sonsio Grand Prix and went on to win the Indianapolis 500 in those respective years. 

WHAT THEY SAID: "Really proud of Ben (Bretzman) and all the guys on the Sonsio Chevy. I was complaining a fair bit in practice, and they tuned it up for me and got it going. To make the Fast Six, not that I didn't expect it based on practice, but it was nice to do it."
