Mathieu Jaminet returns to the Penske Porsche Motorsport (PPM) program in 2024 driving the No. 6 Porsche 963 in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, alongside experienced racer and co-driver Nick Tandy.

In 2018, Jaminet joined forces with Porsche works driver Earl Bamber and current PPM racer Laurens Vanthoor to contest Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta. For the 2019 season, the trio remained together to compete in the North American Endurance Cup (NAEC) for the IMSA races at Daytona, Sebring, Watkins Glen and Road Atlanta. Following a class podium finish in the 24 Hours at Daytona and his debut in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2019, Jaminet and current PPM teammate Nick Tandy teamed up to produce an Intercontinental GT Challenge victory at the nine-hour race at Kyalami in South Africa in a Porsche 911 GT3 R.

In 2023, Jaminet proved to be one of the best closers in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. He scored PPM's first podium at the 12 Hours of Sebring in March and then followed it up with the maiden victory of the Porsche 963 at Long Beach and runner-up finish at Laguna Seca to cap off a stretch of three consecutive podium finishes. Jaminet went on to dominate IMSA's return to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway as PPM scored a convincing 1-2 finish. Jaminet finished fifth in the driver's championship standings at season's end. He also competed in a third PPM entry at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with Tandy and Felipe Nasr.
Jaminet hopes to continue his sports car success with the No. 6 team and the Porsche 963 hybrid Prototype in 2024.
