Dane Cameron has been the fastest cat in the alley so far this weekend in preparations for Sunday's IMSA Road Race Showcase at Road America, and he backed that up by winning the pole position on Saturday afternoon. The pole position continues the strong season by the No. 6 Acura ARX-05 team, particularly in qualifying as they have not started outside of the top-three positions throughout the 2019 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season. The No. 6 team, however, is not without an equal. Despite finishing slightly behind their teammates in the time trials, Helio Castroneves and the No. 7 Acura ARX-05 team has shown plenty of speed to contend for the win when the green flag drops tomorrow.
