Recap:  Helio Castroneves topped teammates Will Power and Simon Pagenaud for the Verizon P1 Pole Award Saturday as the Team Penske drivers will start 1-3, respectively, for Sunday’s Honda Grand Prix of Alabama. Verizon IndyCar Series points leader Juan Pablo Montoya did not make it out of the first qualifying session and will start 15th. The pole position is Castroneves’ second in a row – he has not started a race beyond the second row this season – and the seventh-consecutive for Team Penske dating back to the race at the Milwaukee Mile in August of last year. Montoya is the only driver to start the season with three podium results in the first three races. Castroneves is the only other driver to start the season with three top-five finishes. The two are first and second atop the Verizon IndyCar Series drivers’ standings entering Sunday's race.
