LOGANO LEADS THEM TO GREEN: Saturday's NASCAR Cup Series practice and qualifying sessions at Kansas Speedway were canceled due to inclement weather, with the starting lineup set per the NASCAR Rulebook. As a result, Joey Logano and the No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil Ford Mustang Dark Horse will lead the field to green from the pole position for Sunday's race.

THE CHASE CONTINUES: Team Penske enters Sunday's race at Kansas looking to build on its strong start to the Chase following Logano's victory last weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway. Logano gained a series-best 35 points on the championship leader at Bristol and has made up 56 points over the last two races, moving from 72 points back to just 16 entering the weekend. The No. 22 team also brings a strong history at Kansas, where Logano has earned three victories during his Team Penske career, including the organization's most recent win at the track in October 2020.

Ryan Blaney arrives at Kansas leading all Cup Series drivers in laps led this season after pacing a career-high 202 laps at Bristol, surpassing his previous single-race best of 201 laps at Iowa in June 2024. Blaney is also the only Chase driver to score points in all six stages through the opening three races of the postseason. In 23 career Kansas starts, Blaney has recorded nine top-10 finishes and five top-five results, highlighted by a best finish of third.

Austin Cindric will make his 11th career Cup Series start at Kansas on Sunday. The driver of the No. 2 Discount Tire Ford Mustang Dark Horse owns a pair of 11th-place finishes as his best results at the track and enters the weekend riding a streak of six consecutive finishes of 13th or better over the last few weeks.

Team Penske has six Cup Series victories at Kansas Speedway, with Logano accounting for three and Brad Keselowski earning two. Ryan Newman delivered the organization's first Kansas victory on Oct. 5, 2003.

UP NEXT: Sunday's 267-lap event is scheduled to get underway at 3 p.m. ET, airing live on USA, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90.
