FRIDAY AT THE TRACK: NASCAR Cup Series practice and qualifying at Bristol Motor Speedway were canceled Friday afternoon due to inclement weather, with the starting lineup for Saturday night's Bass Pro Shops Night Race set per the NASCAR Rulebook.
BRISTOL BY THE NUMBERS: Team Penske enters Saturday night's Cup Series race at Bristol with a strong history at the high-banked, half-mile oval, having earned 13 Cup Series victories at the track, excluding the Bristol Dirt event.
Ryan Blaney enters the weekend riding a streak of four consecutive top-10 finishes at Bristol, where he has led 775 career laps - his most at any track on the Cup Series schedule. Blaney has also won the pole for each of the last three short-track races to feature qualifying. With another pole at Bristol, he would become the first driver since Geoff Bodine in 1985-86 to win four consecutive short-track poles.
Blaney and teammate Joey Logano have also set the pace on short tracks this season. Logano leads all Cup Series drivers with 418 laps led on short tracks in 2026, followed by Blaney with 410. A two-time Bristol winner, Logano is also set to mark a Team Penske milestone Saturday night as his 497th Cup Series start with the organization will move him past Rusty Wallace for the most all-time at Team Penske.
Austin Cindric rounds out the Team Penske trio at Bristol, where the driver of the No. 2 Ford Mustang Dark Horse has finished 13th or better in the last five races, including a third-place and a sixth-place finish during that stretch. In his seven Cup Series starts at Bristol, the Team Penske driver has a best finish of 13th.
UP NEXT: Sunday's green flag at The Last Great Colosseum is set to fly just after 7:30 p.m. ET with coverage on USA, PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
