ATLANTA NOTEBOOK: NASCAR Cup Series teams arrived at EchoPark Speedway on Saturday afternoon for qualifying to set the starting lineup for Sunday's Quaker State 400. Ryan Blaney emerged as the pole winner, with Joey Logano claiming the second position to mark a Team Penske sweep of the front row. Austin Cindric is set to start eighth.

The event marks the beginning of a stretch that includes two drafting-track races over the next seven weekends, with Daytona International Speedway also looming in late August. Team Penske enters the run with a proven record on drafting tracks, having won at least one race in each of the past 12 seasons (2014-2025). The organization has also been one of the benchmark teams at the reconfigured EchoPark Speedway, leading the most laps and winning nine of the 18 stages contested, while Ryan Blaney is the defending winner of Daytona's summer race.

UP NEXT: Sunday's green flag at EchoPark Speedway is set to fly just after 7 p.m. ET with coverage on TNT, PRN Radio and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
