CHICAGOLAND NOTEBOOK: NASCAR Cup Series drivers returned to the track at Chicagoland Speedway on Saturday for qualifying in preparation for Sunday's eero 400, which will mark the first Cup Series race at the venue since 2019. Austin Cindric has two NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series starts and one NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series start at the 1.5-mile oval. Cindric has finished 15th or better in all three of his previous NASCAR national series starts at the track, including one top-five finish. Joey Logano has 11 previous Cup Series starts at the track. Over that span, he has compiled an average finish of 11.5 with seven top-10 finishes, including three top-five results. Blaney enters race day with four previous Cup Series starts at Chicagoland, where he has recorded two top-10 finishes.
