POCONO PERSPECTIVE: NASCAR Cup Series teams took advantage of a picture-perfect Saturday in the Pocono Mountains, completing practice and qualifying for Sunday's Great American Getaway 400 with only 11 races remaining before the field for The Chase takes shape. Team Penske enters the weekend with 10 Cup Series victories at the 2.5-mile Tricky Triangle. The organization's most recent win came in 2024 when Ryan Blaney captured the checkered flag for his second career Pocono victory. Blaney's first triumph at the Pennsylvania venue came in 2017 behind the wheel of the No. 21 Ford for Wood Brothers Racing, a breakthrough performance that also marked the first Cup Series victory of his career.

Joey Logano owns one Cup Series victory at Pocono and has made 30 starts at the unique three-cornered facility. Austin Cindric, meanwhile, will make his fifth Cup Series start at the track this weekend after earning his first Pocono top-10 finish one year ago. Prior to moving to NASCAR's premier series, Cindric found victory lane at Pocono in 2021 in the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series.

CELEBRATING PENSKE 60: As part of Team Penske's 60th anniversary celebration, Blaney's No. 12 Wabash Ford Mustang Dark Horse will carry a special throwback paint scheme this weekend at Pocono honoring Ryan Newman's victory in the 2008 DAYTONA 500. Newman's triumph in the Great American Race delivered Team Penske its first DAYTONA 500 victory and capped the organization's first-ever 1-2 finish in Cup Series competition.

Pocono provides a fitting backdrop for the tribute. The Tricky Triangle ranks as Team Penske's fourth-winningest track with 25 victories across Cup Series, Grand National, ARCA and open-wheel competition. Located less than 100 miles from the organization's original shop in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, Pocono has long served as a cornerstone venue in Team Penske's racing history.
