Fort Worth, TX - April 13, 2024
Texas Motor Speedway plays host to the ninth race on the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series schedule this weekend with the running of the Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400 on Sunday, the 44th Cup Series race at the 1.5-mile track situated in Fort Worth, Texas.
HEAR FROM BLANEY: "Overall, a really solid day for the No. 12 Menards/Knauf Ford Mustang. We had some decent short-run speed and it was nice to qualify inside the top 10. I thought our race-pace was really good, too. We'll see what the track gives us tomorrow, but overall, a really solid day."
MIC'D UP: Joey Logano returns to the NASCAR on FOX broadcast booth as a guest analyst for Saturday's NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Texas Motor Speedway. Coverage begins at 1:30 p.m. ET on FS1.
RETURNING TO TEXAS: Joey Logano has started inside the top 10 in 14 of the last 17 races at Texas. Additionally, the 33-year-old driver has top-10 finishes in 11 of the last 15 starts at the Fort Worth track and one win that was recorded in 2014. For Ryan Blaney, through 15 starts at Texas, he has one pole and eight top-10 finishes. The driver of the No. 12 Ford Mustang led a career-high 150 laps at the first Texas race in 2020 before ultimately finishing seventh. Sunday's 200-lapper will mark Austin Cindric's third NASCAR Cup Series start at Texas, but in his eight NASCAR Xfinity Series starts at the track, the Team Penske driver has one triumph and finished in the top 10 in all but one start - which was an 11th-place finish.
RACE DAY: The NASCAR Cup Series takes on 400 miles of racing from the Lone Star State on Sunday afternoon with coverage of the Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400 beginning at 3:00 p.m. ET on FS1, PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
