Recap:  Brad Keselowski, driver of the No. 2 Miller Lite Ford Fusion, led the Team Penske qualifying effort at Talladega Superspeedway on Saturday afternoon as he registered the 15^th fastest lap of the session. Today’s qualifying session was a blend of the old and the new as it consisted of two sessions of single car runs. The top-12 from the first session advanced for a shot at the pole. Both Team Penske cars missed the top-12, as Joey Logano and the No. 22 Shell-Pennzoil Ford turned the 21^st quickest lap of the first session. Today is the first time that Logano has qualified outside of the top-15 this season.
