PENSKE 60: The first of Team Penske's nine wins at World Wide Technology Raceway (WWTR) came in the team's first start at the St. Louis-area oval in 1997. Starting from the second position, Paul Tracy took the lead late in the event to score Team Penske's 99th INDYCAR SERIES victory. Gil de Ferran, Helio Castroneves, Will Power and Josef Newgarden have all visited WWTR victory lane for Team Penske, with Newgarden holding the track record with five INDYCAR SERIES victories.

PARTY LIKE IT'S...2009: Team Penske continues to celebrate 60 years in motorsports this weekend at World Wide Technology Raceway with a throwback livery on the No. 3 DEX Chevrolet driven by Scott McLaughlin. In 2009, Helio Castroneves scored his third win in the Indianapolis 500 and the 15th win for Team Penske in the "Greatest Spectacle in Racing." Halfway around the world, Scott McLaughlin tuned in to watch the race in full for the first time. To honor that victory, McLaughlin handpicked that 2009 livery to race in this anniversary season.  

THEY SAID IT: "It was incredible. That car was perfect. Obviously, there was so much of a guessing game from practice one with temperatures, with this new tire compound, all of that, and where we wanted to put the car, and this team got it right where it needed to be. I made a mistake on a lap. I got a little bit too excited going into turn one, so lap two was a little bit down. But we're here with the front row start at this amazing track, so really good job to this Team Penske Verizon Chevy team."
