MICHIGAN RUNDOWN: Team Penske took to the track Saturday at Michigan International Speedway for practice and qualifying ahead of Sunday's FireKeepers Casino 400. Ford has found plenty of success at the 2-mile oval in recent years, winning nine of the last 11 NASCAR Cup Series races at Michigan. Overall, Team Penske ranks third among all organizations with 10 Cup Series victories at Michigan. Joey Logano has accounted for three of those wins and enters the weekend tied with Kyle Larson and Denny Hamlin for the most Michigan victories among active drivers. Ryan Blaney also has a Michigan win to his credit and stands as Team Penske's most recent Cup Series winner at the track, having visited victory lane in 2021. Austin Cindric has made just four Cup Series starts at Michigan and has a best finish of 12th, which came during the 2023 season.
