AT A GLANCE: NASCAR Cup Series teams arrived to a damp Charlotte Motor Speedway on Saturday morning ahead of Sunday's Coca-Cola 600 weekend activities. Due to inclement weather, NASCAR canceled qualifying for the event and adjusted the schedule to include a 45-minute practice session for teams on the 1.5-mile oval. Team Penske has recorded six victories in NASCAR's premier series at Charlotte, including a memorable triumph in the 2023 Coca-Cola 600 with Ryan Blaney. That win completed a historic weekend for the organization after Josef Newgarden captured the Indianapolis 500, giving Team Penske victories in two of motorsports' marquee events on the same weekend. Joey Logano also owns a Charlotte victory, earning the win in the track's fall race in 2015. Austin Cindric enters Sunday's 600-mile crown jewel event carrying momentum from a strong stretch of recent performances, including leading all Ford drivers with a sixth-place finish last weekend at Dover Motor Speedway after recording a ninth-place result at Watkins Glen International the week prior. Cindric has made four previous starts in NASCAR's premier series on the Charlotte oval heading into Sunday night's event.

600 MILES OF REMEMBRANCE: Memorial Day weekend and Sunday's Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte once again serve as one of the most meaningful events on the schedule through NASCAR and the track's 600 Miles of Remembrance program. Team Penske's three Cup Series entries will each carry the name of a fallen service member this weekend, with Cindric honoring Army Sergeant First Class Glen Jacob Whetten on the No. 2, Blaney recognizing Army Staff Sergeant Thomas Lazzaro on the No. 12 and Logano paying tribute to Marine Corps Lance Corporal John R. Wheatley Jr. on the No. 22.

UP NEXT: Sunday's Coca-Cola 600 from Charlotte goes green at 6 p.m. ET, airing live on Prime Video, PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90.
