JOLIET, Ill. (July 10, 2009) – Justin Allgaier driver of the No. 12 Verizon Wireless Dodge Charger, will line up in the ninth starting position for tonight’s Dollar General 300 outside the “Windy City.”

In Friday’s qualifying session, the 23-year old ran a fast time of 30.608 seconds which put him on the inside of the fifth row for tonight’s event at the 1.5-mile Chicagoland Speedway.   Allgaier has three starts at the Chicagoland Speedway with a best finish of fourth which came in 2008.

“Our Verizon Wireless Dodge Charger is really good,” commented driver Justin Allgaier after qualifying.  “I got really loose going into turn 1 on our second lap and I decided to back out of the gas.  I did not want to take a chance of wrecking our car.  I think we would have had a shot for the pole, but I am happy with ninth.  In practice yesterday, we ran a lot of laps and feel like our car is really good on the long run.  I am looking forward to tonight’s race and getting another strong result for our Verizon Wireless Dodge Charger team.”

The Dollar General 300 can be seen tonight live on ESPN with coverage beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET. The event can also be heard live on MRN radio as well as Sirius Satellite Radio channel 128.
