MOORESVILLE, N.C. (October 27, 2010) -
Team Penske driver and dancer extraordinaire, Helio Castroneves, will return to the set of the ABC hit television show, "Dancing with the Stars" on Monday, November 1.
Castroneves has been invited to return as a guest judge on the live broadcast of the hit show. The invitation was extended to the past champion as the result of being voted as one of the top-10 best dances of all-time over the last 10 seasons.
"Dancing with the Stars" will be celebrating its 200th episode next week and over 50 former contestants have been invited to take part in the celebrations.
Leading up to the anniversary, the show had fans vote for their favorite past performances. The fans chose from nearly 1,000 dances. Castroneves, and his dancing partner Julianne Hough, came up with the eighth-favorite dance with their rendition of the Quick Step.
The three-time Indianapolis 500 winner and season five "DWTS" champion happily agreed to be judge for the upcoming show.
"I am super excited to be back on ‘Dancing with the Stars' as a guest judge," said Castroneves. "It certainly is an honor to be invited back. I am very grateful to all of the fans and I send a heartfelt thank you to everyone that voted."
